Tiny wall art. I finally started to make things again! Yay!
note: it is supposed to be a flower. That was the intent. Not an eyeball. Since it has been pointed out to me, that is all I see.
RECIPE for my way too healthy bars:
2.5 c quick oats
1 c chopped slivered almonds
0.5 c chopped cherries
0.5 c chopped goji berries
0.5 c raw cacao nibs
0.25 c raw cacao powder
0.25 c ground flax seed
0.25 c chia seeds
0.25 c hemp hearts
0.25 c butter
0.5 c honey
Combine C with A, then add B.
Mix, press into buttered pan, divide.
Wrap bars in waxed paper.
This recipe is approximate. Substitute with what you have on hand — different nuts + dried fruit. Next time I’d like to cut the honey down, use some maple syrup and add something to bind them together better. As is, these would be great crumbled in vanilla yogurt!
